I had the car towed to the dealership and was then told by the service rep that it was not. I also called the extended warranty company and they told me the same thing. The vehicle needs the piston rings replaced because of carbon buildup in the cylinders and the dealerships sales rep told me it was a known Honda problem and that it should be covered. I also purchased an extended warranty from the dealership. I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle that came with a bumper to bumper warranty.
